The other answers were all good. If you find that stuff isn’t moving, start marking things down or have a 2 for 1 sale at noon. I’ve even moved some slow movers that I really just wanted rid of to a “all you can fit in a bag for $2″ table.

If your things are in nice shape and clean you’ll know before too long if you’ve priced them too high. Remember, though, if you don’t ask enough you can’t really raise the price, but you can always lower it.

Sometimes, you can suggest things that go together to people. If they are looking at a shirt that looked great with a particular jacket, point it out! Make the sale.

It makes a difference where you live. If you lived in Ohio/Kentucky area, ask a couple dollars or less for clothing. Nice dresses, suits or anything with tags still on can get more. Belts, it depends on how nice, but no more than 4 or 5 dollars. Electronics can be up to $30, depending on what you have.

The cheaper the better! For clothes and belts no more than $1 a piece. As for electronics it really depends on what it is….I wouldn’t price more than $5 for a dvd player or $20 for a tv.

So they’re like new but not new. Like that makes any sense. That’s like being a virgin but not a virgin.
