Did you know that you need a permit to host a garage sale or a yard sale on your property? Before the date of your sales event you must first purchase a garage sale permit from the city of San Antonio.

A private residence is allowed three garage sales per address each calendar year. You may only have one sale every 90 days.

Hours of garage and yard sales are limited to 9:00 am to 6:00 pm and may not exceed two consecutive days.

Garage Sale permits may be purchased online or in person at any H-E-B Grocery store or at the following City locations:

Las Palmas Shopping Center

Sat: 10:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.

McCreless Mall
North Parking Lot - Modular Building

Mon-Fri: 8:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.
Sat: 10:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.

South Park Mall
2310 S.W. Military Drive
Mon-Sat: 10:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.

Valley View Shopping Center

Mon-Fri: 8:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
Sat: 10:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.

Mon-Tue, Thur-Fri: 7:45 am - 4:30 pm
Wed: 7:45 am - 6:00 pm
