Did you know that you need a permit to host a garage sale or a yard sale on your property? Before the date of your sales event you must first purchase a garage sale permit from the city of San Antonio.
A private residence is allowed three garage sales per address each calendar year. You may only have one sale every 90 days.
Hours of garage and yard sales are limited to 9:00 am to 6:00 pm and may not exceed two consecutive days.
Garage Sale permits may be purchased online or in person at any H-E-B Grocery store or at the following City locations:
