What are some good ways to advertise a big garage sale?

My friends and I are having a garage sale and all the proceeds are going to go to the American Cancer Society. My scool is having a Relay for Life and we're fundraising.

So what are some good ways to advertise a big garage sale? And I say big because not only is there going to be a lot of stuff, but all the money is going to a good cause.
