My subdivision is doing a garage sale tommorw. We are lucky as we are the first house people will see as they drive up. We have various items such as a baby funiture, baby cloths, men's cloths, kitchen stuffs, name brand women's shoes, and such.

I have never done garage sale before. How do I make most money out of garage sale? Any experience garage sale household?

We're planning to sell soda since it's going to be pretty warm tomorrow. Do you think that is a good idea?

What is the best way to organize, price and prepare a garage sale especially if mulitple families are involved? Our neighborhood is having a community garage sale and 4 friends are bringing things to my house for it. Its a month away and I'm already overwhelmed with stuff. What's the best way to make this easy and successful?
My biggest hurdle right now in preparing is getting through all the stuff and pricing it. What's the best way to organize while I'm pricing?

I am on maternity leave right now and am looking around the house at all the space I don't have and all the junk I do. I would like to have a garage sale but am unsure of how to price everything. Does anyone have any suggestions?
I do have big items like a wedding dress, a tv, computer monitors etc. How do you price those too?

I am thinking about having a garage sale. I have never done it before. I know that posting it up on craigslist and having signs around the neighborhood are good, but do you have any other tips for me? We will be selling mostly baby / toddler clothes and a few house hold items.

How much have you made from a garage sale before? Maybe I should try to get the whole block to sell stuff? Ever done that?

We are having a garage sale and all I have to contribute is some books. What are some easy craft ideas that people might buy? Anyone know of anything I could make? What would sell best, craft wise?

I have lots of nice things I am putting in a garage sale, such as clothes, baby items, and household things. I want to make a lil money, but do not want to be too high on my items. What is a good rule or percentage of retail value that I should put on these like new items?

Also, it's a multi family sale. We are planning on using different color stickers for each family to make the check out easier. Any different ideas or suggestions for organization would be great. Thanks in advance.

I'm having a garage sale this weekend. I"m not new to garage sales... I've had many over the years, and I always play music in the background. I generally go with either country or "adult contemporary" stations on the radio. But I'm curious about the affects of different music styles on shoppers. Has anybody tried anything different at your sales, and what's your experience? I'm thinking of maybe playing some salsa or reggae music for fun. What do you think?

What tips do you have on wording a garage sale ad to attract more people to your sale?

I usually have a garage sale once a year...and this year, I just feel lazy. My garage sales have brought in between $100- $400 each year.
