So what are some good ways to advertise a big garage sale? And I say big because not only is there going to be a lot of stuff, but all the money is going to a good cause.

Having a garage sale on Saturday and need to get some idea on a few items of how much people would be willing to pay:

1) Upright entertainment armoire. Good condition except the left side is slightly faded due to sun. Medium wood, 4 doors.

2) Patio set - aluminum round table with 4 chairs (plastic weaving). Some of the weaving at the top of the chairs is coming loose, otherwise in good condition.

3) 26 inch regular tube tv. Works fine.

4) Gas grill. The ignitor has gone up, but it can still be lit with a match. No gas tank, just the grill.

How much would you be willing to pay for these items so I can price them accordingly? Thanks.

I always hear how other scrapbookers find and buy nice scrapbooking stuff at garage sales. Now, I am thinking, is that really true? I don't usually go to garage sales, but I sure look around for a garage sale that will have scrap items. I would like to know if you have ever purchased anything scrapbook related at a garage sale that you were just surprised to find there?

I have the rockin' roll roller coaster and the Mall that has like never been used. I know old, unwanted things around the house are fair game..but what are the limitations to what I can sell? What about silly things like old socks (still in wearable condition)? And what are reasonable prices for things, without being too high or too low? The garage sale is in a month and I'm starting to mark things around the house now. Any other words of advice?
Also, where would be a good place to find extra tables and shelves etc for the sale?

I'm going to have a garage / yard sale. I have a ton of clothes from small kids clothes in good condition to adult clothes. Nice work clothes pants, skirts, blouses. I always seem to under charge so wants the going rate for clothes at garage sales.
